Secret to FLAWLESS Skin FAQ

So I was asked quite a lot after I uploaded the video about how I recover my skin from my monstrous breakouts.  So here are the frequently asked questions and answers:

FAQ

During your breakout period, did you put any make-up on at all?

Answer: Yes, I did videos and I would be putting on make-up when I go out.  However, as soon as I get home I would remove my make-up thoroughly with oil-base make-up remover several times to make sure my it is really clean. (AND It is important to never fall asleep why having your makeup on)

How long did it take for your skin to recover?

Answer: It took me 2 months to recover from my breakouts, after I started doing what I told you in my videos:)

Do you have any acne cream suggestion?

Answer: When you buy acne cream make sure you look at the ingredients, it should contain Salicylic Acid in it, which heals acne without making the skin too dry and/or starts peeling.  One I would suggest to try would be "Drying Cream" from Mario Badescu (but be sure to only apply to specific spots, don't use it on your whole face).  It could stings sometimes when you put it on because of the alcohol ingredient which helps cleanse bacteria.  This helped my acne to heal over night.

Did BB Cream break you out? I have heard people used this ______BB Cream and it caused breakouts

Answer: No, that's not the cause of my breakouts because I have been using the same BB Cream when I had breakout until now and it doesn't have any effect on my skin.  I don't have any allergy to a specific brand of make-up.  Also I would suggest you look into brushes, and clean them regularly.

Do you experience any breakouts after that?

Answer: No, I don't have breakouts anymore.  Although pimples could appear once in a while but nothing so serious comparing to what happened before.  After a day or two it would be gone and the red spots don't appear visible longer than a week.

Would you suggest popping pimples?

Answer: I wouldn't encourage it if you don't know the correct ways, it would be better to go to the specialist and have them do it for you.  However, if you are going to pop them anyway, please use the right tools.  I would suggest using one of these (LINK) would be alright (but again, I don't encourage it!)

Do you not recommend a visit to dermatologist?

Answer: I would recommend you to visit them if you are just going to have them pop pimples for you.  However, there are many dermatologists out there that would (possibly) suggest you to come back and use their services over and over again instead of sincerely helping you to recover so if you feel like your skin isn't recovering even though you paid several visits to the dermatologist, I would suggest you to try my ways of recovering breakouts I talked about in my video because visiting dermatologist could cost you more than you should.

Ceptaphil is too expensive, do you have any alternatives?

Answer: Anything mild or for sensitive/baby skin would work fine^^

Do you use scrubs/peeling cream?

Answer: While I was having breakouts, I wouldn't use anything else other than what I mentioned in my video.  However, after I recovered my skin I use homemade/DIY scrub because you KNOW EXACTLY what's in the scrub you make.  I would make a video in the near future, to show you what I use.

Birth Control Pills:

Answer: Some birth control pills can heal acne in some women, the pills that help against acne have the hormones estrogen and progestin in them. However, most contraceptive pills have not been approved specifically for the treatment of acne. If you stop using those pills, you may be experiencing acne and breakouts due to hormonal changes.

Make-up Remover?

Answer: I use Etude house Eye&Lip Make up remover with clean cotton pads, I would use many cotton pads to make sure that there's really no make-up on my face.  Then I would use DHL Cleaning oil to clean my face again before using cleanser.

Make-up base?

Answer: I personally think primer is important, not only that it will keep your make-up lasting longer, it prevents your skin to directly contact with the make-up itself (could be important while you are experiencing breakouts).  I would suggest looking into anything silicone based like Benefit's Pore Professional.

Other minor tips, which don't seem important but they are!:

Answer:

1. Try not to touch your face, your own fingers/fingernails can contain bacteria without you realizing it.  Try cleaning your hands often could help; however, it is surely less risky to avoid touching your face at all.

2. Hair: if you are at home it could be better if you keep them out of your face, I'm not saying that hair can contain bacteria as well, but do you notice that sometimes people you has bangs experience acne on their forehead? It could be the case right?

3. Clean your face regularly with water, if you are in the hot/humid country you could be sweating a lot.  It is always alright to clean your face with just water.

4.Clean your sheets/towel: Anything could be the cause of bacteria, but if you are experiencing breakouts, it is always good to keep your environment extra clean.  Wash your sheets and towel regularly because they too are what directly contact your skin.
